Love my asian culture but this is definitely a bit much for me. While I accept that we must ultimately kill and consume to survive, I could never eat anything showing signs of life or struggling to stay alive. No hate though, just my own mind and stomach wouldn't be able to take it.

IIRC Invertebrates can't feel pain. That being said, I prefer my squid battered then deep fried and NOT moving around.

Yup all cultural biases.

Just like Hindu's considering cows sacred... steak eating, hamburger chomping Americans must seem so barbaric to them. I wonder if there's video of the beef processing plants shoving cows down the chopper.

Or worse, what about the conditions that modern cattle is raised in during its LIVING YEARS so we can have our hamburgers and steaks. (read omnivore's dilemma)
