leaving suby world for a while...
yep, i just sold my car today. why? My sis gave me her 98 protege and it's already paid off, while i still had 12k on my RS. So I decided to save some money for a while. sold the car for 12.3k with 55.6k miles on it, and now I have NO MORE payments to make and insurance on the protege is cheap as hell.
but I have to say, I am missing my RS already. now I realize how 'solid' my RS was comparing to the protege. but it's all good. I haven't done autox, rallyx, and TSD rally for the longest time. I am just using my car for commute (90-100 miles a day). So it's not like I use it to the fullest. The protege would do just fine with what I need right now.
it's a big load off my shoulder, but I also miss it a lot. But I think it's a wise thing to do, no need to waste money.
BUT, i'll be back. When and what? Stay tune...

haha! I seriously don't know what i'll come back with just yet. by the time I am ready to buy, I don't know what deal would subaru have. right now they have 1.9apr excluding the STi
. STi is a little on the high side, but definitly doable. It really depends on how my financial situation is when I am ready to buy. Who knows, maybe by the time I am ready to buy I would have saved enough to put a big down and lower the monthly. Or maybe I'll be out of job and not even able to get a new ride. (that would suck!
)
sure, it sucks to downgrade on the car. but I sure like that extra money in my bank!

thanks Vic. Yeah, with this going on right now, I might have to miss rallyx completely this year.
I don't think this protege can handle the dirt. LOL! And I am sure it'll suck **** in autox as well.
Damn! No racing for a while....
