hmm..i bought the car on 4-27-07...so far its doing really good..all i was told was the car was stock

so i can get a my vin run for SOA check for free at the dealer?
plus the cruise control doesn't work. any idea? he said it never came with it. but what i've heard it was standard. i have all the buttons for it but just dunno why doesn't it work..

yeah...standard on cruise control...far as I know.
recall was just a clip. They put it on because there were some issues of the cruise control sticking on. It wouldn't keep it from working though.
My guess...it got disconnected with all the hacking the car underwent. Maybe that red wire?
I'd ask the dealership to check it.

Cruise control is clearly still intact inside the engine bay in the for sale thread. Also there are no cruise control wires near the clock harness.... chances are he had defi gauges and taped them from the clock harness and just left the taped wires.
Are you turning the cruise control on correct? It's pretty straight forward but you never know...

You may already know this, but while cruise control is standard, but you have to turn it on before you can use it. The button's next to the fog lamp switch. It resets to off each time you turn off the car.
