Was Kinko's bought by FedEx? Suggestions on making a drug booklet. *Paging WRX Mike*

Went to the FedEx store on Monday. They quoted me a page at around $3-$4..... sooooooo $200 with the amount of papers I have to copy and laminate?

Furthermore they were unhelpful in trying to get the price lower with suggestions, so does anyone here work in this field?

I need this.

I could do the printing and binding but I don't have a lamitator.

Quick search and you can buy a cheap one for $30 or so and 100 sheets is $15

Laminator $40 (Shipped tax and stuff)
Sheets $40

So depending on what you pay yourself you can do it cheaper or for about the same price as kinko's.

wouldn't buying a book be cheaper/easier?

drug guide books are only $30-$40 new. Even cheaper for used books. you can just put post its for specific drugs that you need

I think he needs something more durable and something he can add pages to later.

I have a Fellows "Jupiter" 125 laminator if you would like to borrow it. All you need to do is buy the lamination sheets and self laminate. If you need it quick you can PM me, but Im leaving for sacramento this weekend.

Or if there are a few of you guys that need it done you could all go in on a laminator and a 3 hole punch and get it done in shifts?

it's better to find a small copy/print shop than to go to kinkos or chain. almost all of the time they're better priced and more helpful.

^ What he said. Fedex only began to change Kinko's name to FedEx Office recently, but they have owned Kinko's since like a year or two after Kinko's started up as a company. They bought them mainly to use them as competitors to the UPS Store so customers have more locations to ship or drop off Fedex packages there.

medic school? 4x5 flashcards ftw. clip them together and keep them in your cargo pockets. Get a pack at the dollar store. Writing all that crap down by hand will help you memorize everything. Use different colored ink for mechanism of action, indications, contraindication, etc.

My flashcards.

Not easy to flip through. Can't write small enough on one side. I want it that size so it's pocketable and won't get all out of shape hence the lamination.

I have flash cards too for individual pharms.
