So what kind of suspension setup do you use and how comfy is it?
Find some blown WRX struts, get Swift springs and Koni inserts for the struts.

For kids, or ride comfort, can't go too hard on the springs. Koni's are great shocks, you will never go back to Megan type coil overs.

When I had my FXT I had oem WRX wagon set-up with an STI rear bar. Perfect for DD, handling was decent. I was all set to add koni inserts. I ended up selling the FXT. New owner put the koni's in. I also had planned on putting STI springs, that I have sitting in the garage, but wanted to see what the Koni's would have been like with the WRX wagon springs first.

Good luck man!
Still got those STi springs, Gus?

I put 04 WRX wagon struts/springs on my FXT with 25mm hollow hotchkiss sways and our 3-week-old newborn isn't fussing when we drive.
