Suspension Setup Questions
Looking for that sportier ride for me yet not too sporty for the wife and kids. Also, don't want a big drop as I like clearance in snow/ mud/ curbs
Was thinking of this setup:
WhiteLine Springs(control) with KYB AGX struts
Feel free to add suggestions and places to purchase.

I see you have an SUS, and I suspect you'll run into the same problems the OutBack owners wishing to upgrade their suspensions have run into. That being different height struts/spring perches etc. You may want to do an extensive search at NASIOC Legacy board (only recommended because of their more extensive archive) maybe using suspension and OutBack terms and go back a long ways. I don't recall a solution.
As far as WhiteLine parts I've found Don at PDM Racing to be not only cheap but very responsive and professional to deal with.

Here's a link to some pics of my WhiteLine/AGX swap on the GT Wagon.

Unless you are giong for coils. Too much for me.
I bought the Intrax springs for my 96 wagon. Looks like they have kits to fit all the others as well for around $250.
They have a pretty good ride, not too harsh. It's what I was looking for.
The drop is good, slight, not slammed. Nice though.

When you say Sporty do you mean a car that goes around corners better?
What I did was upgrade the Front and rear antirollbars to the thicker Whiteline variety.
Adv:
a) Better in the corners with less body roll (and tire camber change)
b) Retained existing (family) spring settings for ride comfort.
c) Its a cool mod U an do yourself
Disadv:
a) Probably need to upgarde my shocks now as they are now getting a harder time with:
i) thicker bars
ii) keener driver
Good luck

I see you have an SUS

Glenn O, I was looking at your ride as as idea of what I want to go for. In the corners, does it stiffen up as you push it tighter/harder (a progressive feel?).
hotman8 - Haven't heard much use of the Intrax on Legacy's, but will enterain your thoughts on them

DRENZ - I already have WL front & rear end links, as well as a WL rear Sway bar @ 20mm.(Great upgrades!) I need to do springs/struts as I've just pushed over 97K and the stock stuff is really showing it's age/use in the corners.
This will be a spring(tax refund) upgrade. Thoughts on Eibach & MRT Springs? KYB GC2's? any other good struts?
White Knight - How's your STI v5 struts and how much are those going for?

Mark, To be truthful I haven't really noticed if the susp has a "progressive" feel. The springs lowered the car exactly 3/4" all around, and I'm still running the AGX's at 2F4R. The car is noticeably firmer at freeway speeds, even fully loaded with no more wallow. On country roads she's much more nimble, recovering nicely in a series of turns. Very little lean and easily rotates on demand. I only have an 18mm rear bar with WL links. As everyone knows what the car lacks is some POWER!!!

Mark, I bought my springs when they were designated Low and Super-Low(?) and I got the Low, in a Wagon-Specific application. Paid about $160 from PDM Racing in 2001.

and got the AGX's from p-s-t for $389 shipped.

A word of warning on the AGX struts here. There is no Legacy application listed for the BD/BG, but I went with the Impreza fitment on advice of other folks that had succesfully used them on this board. Had to convince the vendor I knew what I was talking about before he'd ship them to me. They fit just fine.
