i don't know if anyone has really noticed but theres like this big hype on skateboarding lately, now everyone is trying to get into it since the pack came out with that vans song. lupe reps skateboarding like no other and pharrell and his poser skate team came up with the ice cream brand.

i've been skating since i was little but quitted for wrestling in high school.. but now that i got kicked off the sfsu wrestling team, i got back into skating.

just want to know if anyone in the area is down to ride sometimes at local parks or what not. trying to get good again and its kinda hard to progress skating with the same people..

oh, and if you have any any pic of footy of yourself skating, that'll be dope.

Ive skated since i was little. Do you live in SF?? What parks do you hit up?? I know a few spots around town but would like to find more

 

I like to take girls on romantic ice skating nights, were we hold hands and talk about memories past all night until the sun rises

right now im living at home with my parents in oakland but during the school i live on campus at sfsu.

the only place i've skated in sf is on campus, that one mini ramp thing by in and out burgers and the pier.


where are the other spots at?

and yeah, its insanely hard to progress once you get older and larger =)

well actually, since im asian and wrestled since forever.. i kinda stayed the same height and weight lol..


except now i got really bad knees so i guess thats kinda holding me back

 

I gave up skating a LONG time ago. Think it was about the time I dropped in on a 10.5 foot half pipe in front of a stadium full of people and smacked my face of the bottom.

Figured I had a choice. Do something I enjoy and am alright at and risk more injuries or do something I LOVE and am pretty good at and risk injuries. haaaa.

So I picked snowboarding and I have ZERO regrets.

 

I skated from age 4 to 18. knee injuries prevent me from doing it now.

 

check the meetings thread, i know there was a get together with some of the board members that skate.
