from the cop in Burlingame that's been threatening me for a couple weeks.He finally got me. The code is 27156(b). The cop came to my house for noise disturtance a couple weeks ago and he also signed off my modified exhaust for HKS Carbon ti before this. Should I complain to internal affairs? I have a borla hush exhaust and a catless downpipe and uppipe but the cop didnt see any of that. All he saw was a K & N intake sticker. How can I fight this?

this cop has never liked me... he has come to my house multiple times because of having parties. he told me that when he finds me he will pull me over and tow my car. i was driving home from dinner and he turned the other way. i then started going home and he followed me almost to my house and pulled me over. he said my intake was illegal but its just a sticker. and he never even saw my downpipe or anything. saw the wires to my HID and said that i moded it. he gave me a ticket and state referee me.

 

Well, he gave you a citation for modified emissions, which you do have (catless up and down pipe).

You could go back to stock and go see the ref. Or, you could go back to stock, go to court and lie, say the cop harassed you, your car is stock blah blah blah and see what happens. Option B very may well lead to more issues in the future.

Personally, I'd go to the ref and just file a report at the precinct documenting his continual harassment of you. Then lay low for a while and proceed as you see fit.

 

Man, that blows bud! Good luck with this issue, but I would do as spoolin suggested. Go stock, state ref it and file a complaints at the PD station. See what happens and if all is good then your gold. Good luck!

 

he can arrest you as that almost happened to me. the reason is a failure to comply with fixiing the fix it ticket. i have had past experience with it. cop let me drive home to get everything fix.ed

Everthing back to stock.. And, yes you can get arrested for driving your car..

 

ALL BACK TO STOCK is ur safest bet...

 

put your car back to stock....everytime you see that cop drive by you. make a funny face...and f'in mugg the cr@p out of him..... do this when....you have free time....
