Just got a speeding Ticket..

Yeah I got pulled over for doing 80 on a 65 by highway patrol. But the thing is, I got pulled over where 280N meets 19th ave, in San Francisco, Im not sure if thats really still highway. On the ticket it says I was in Daly City.. hmmmm. I dont know. Basically my question is can Highway Patrol pull people over on the streets. sorry stupid question haha.

My other question is, does the website ticket assassin really work? I never really been to that site, I just see it brought up in the forums. Just thought I'd give it a shot.

thanks,

,

havent you see ponch and jon on the tv show CHiPs??????

THEY were the only cops in LA... lol...

seriously, all cops in kalif are not limited to the city/county agencies they belong to.

they see a crime, they will do their jobs.

also, in 1995, the state police was merged into the CHP. so technically, CHP is the state police.

what sucks is the last time i was given a ticket was by CHP, was in the city where a family relative was a cop in... GRRRRRRR....

80 in a 65??? that's harsh. I know you were still speeding but which of us never goes 80 on a freeway?

What is it with CHP that they don't give out warnings, just tickets.

80 in a 65 is a joke, you just got picked on. And don't tell him to slow down, not his fault this country has ****ty laws that require you going slow on the highway even when/where safe and still produces masses of accidents.

last time i took traffic school.. lol.. we learned that not only does the CHP have jurisdiction everywhere, we learned that a highway is anything that is considered driveable, such as driveways and parking lots and of course city streets. The driveway and parking lot thing really got me... cause really... we're not really trained to think of those as highways... ya know?

No reduction or were you going faster than that? Are you still able to go to traffic school going 15 over the limit?
