Anybody know about any junkyards around the south bay that may have a subaru or two laying around?

I ask because for some reason my pressure sensor has failed and the replacement is $290 quoted from capitol subaru. I'm hoping to ****** one off a junker.

Please let me know.

What kind of pressure sensor?

 

it's the MAP sensor right on top of the throttle body

 

That's what I figured at that price. Sort of a risky buy at a junkyard, assuming you can find one.

Yeah. I'm looking for a wrecked 05 wagon. Needs me some interior bits.

Have you tried cleaning the MAF sensor. Sometimes that's all it needs. Specially with all this rain.

 

Try the pick-n-pull on Oakland Road in San Jose..

 

You can always try the junkyards out on Industrial Rd. in Hayward.

Then you can stop by GST and shoot the breeze afterward

 

If you can't find anything via the scrap heap give me a shout I'll see what I can do.
