Well, looks like I've joined the "reorged out of a job" club. The 14th was my last work day. I'm currently job hunting, and I'm wondering if anyone in BAIC knows of any open sysadmin positions. I'm an experienced sysadmin (mostly windows, all versions, client and server), I have my CCNA, and I have management experience.

If any of you guys have any leads, please shoot them my way.

Thanks all. It's good to be part of BAIC, the COMMUNITY that looks out for each other.

I work @ a Credit Union in Sunnyvale doing web dev and there is a position here for a Senior network admin. Interested? I'll post the snippet from our website..

" Responsible for the overall performance of KeyPoint CU's network, which includes LAN, WAN, and dial in service. Responsible for maintaining the documentation and serviceability of all networking hardware and software involved in keeping these systems performing to service level agreements. 5 years networking experience, with 2 years in a network administration role. Knowledge of Sun Solaris and/or Oracle, Citrix."

PM me for me info if this sounds interesting. Good luck 2 you.

hey, I kinda like the idea of a BAIC job referral section....

It's all about the community, helping each other out. It's what BAIC is supposed to be like.

Unemployment counter: 6 days.
Resumes sent: 12
interviews: 0

Not disheartened yet. I'll start worrying in 2 months.

Oh, and not a CS, CSE, EE, EECS, or CE major, either. My degree is in Legal Studies.

Hey, I'll second the BAIC job board idea!

Anyone need a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with experience in construction management, design management, and facility management? Position must be in the greater Sacramento area.

Hell, why don't we just start our own BAIC company. We've got managers, business men, IT, programmers.

We could take over the world!
