so my friends and I are trying to plan a fundraiser car show/meet for japans relief fund possibly on April 3rd. Who of you guys would be down to attend? This is still in the thinking process and I will keep updating this tread with information as it comes.

Not to sure on location but we are trying to see how much it would cost to rent out Japan Towns garage where JDM Theory and WekFest were held. So far confirmed shops would be , N1 concepts , The Shop , Limitless , we are trying to work with Junior from WekFest so you should see this is not a scam. Also i dont know what happened at BAM neither did i hear anything.

 

The only thing is that parking is cramped down there but if it's just our forum it shouldn't be bad at all. Yo Brandon, do you know how much of the proceeds will go to a charity?

 

yeah but its not just our forum lol , its going to be split up i think , we are trying to find a bigger location but so far that is it. I believe everything goes to charity after rent for location is paid but im not entirely sure ill have to get back to you after i talk to my friend to see what else needs to be paid for. We were also thinking treasure island is a very big spot to throw the event and could accommodate a large number of cars/people.

 

Yeah, only issue for some people would be weather if it's raining. Last time we were there the cops booted us. lmao.

Treasure island would be really cool tho. Easy to get to and leave and space wouldn't really be an issue. There always the Pleasanton fair grounds.

 

thats true ill bring it up with my friend tomorrow and ill let you guys know how its going , yeah thats true weather will always be an issue.
