jacked at Northstar *BEWARE*

was at North* on friday shredding some of the most amazing snow ever while some Dbags were robbing everything out of my buddies scooby wagon
they took over $2500 worth of stuff, ipods, sunglasses, goggles, nixon watch, laptop, clothes, etc...they even took my boys roofracks (which were screwed in with a security bit) and my god damn shoes! i had to ride home in my board boots...we were parked in Lot I off the main lot and these dudes were straight pros so BE CAREFUL out there!

no forced entry, and i know for a fact that the car was locked...oh and north* security is basically worthless, dude was acting like it was an inconvenience for us to file the report....and for those that dont know, insurance doesnt cover sh*t that isnt bolted down so we basically got Fd

I'd pound a MF'r if I saw them stealing someone's stuff. How do people pull that off. I mean seriously.

Not sure if I will be stating the obvious...You are correct that auto insurance policy does not cover non-automotive or personal possession damages; that is what home- or apartment-owners policies are for. All of the things that were taken from you are covered under most good policies. learned the hard way in the past myself. May be something worth considering...

That sucks. I was there last Wednesday and the whole time I was there I kept thinking about someone breaking into the car. Luckily nothing happened. Thats crazy that they could even pull that off with people coming and going and shuttle buses running.

That its really lame....Although it seems like alot more cars are getting broken into...My co-workers car was stolen from our work parking lot.

I stopped driving my sti to work because I no longer feel safe...But snowboarding....really, that sucks. I suppose now I wont feel safe in the Alpine parking lot.

I always felt like tahoe was insulated from that kinda shizzle . If I were you I would file a complaint with Northstar and get them to think about beefing up security.

we filed a report and as we were doing that a car alarm was goin off and we asked dude if he needed to check on it and he was like "eh, they go off all day long" !! i wanted to punch his fat *** in the Fn nuts!

the lot we were in was lot I , its tucked back off the main lot and once filled up u gotta figure theres about an hr period that nobody would come back to there cars...these guys knew what was crackin so just be careful on those sidelots.

oh and we had travel gear cause we were in south lake the day before and my boy has no tint so that didnt help but its still Fd up.

Thats freakin BS!!!! I'm so sorry that it happened. I hope those ****tards get whats coming to them.

It sucks that they know most ppl probably won't return to their cars until they're done boarding.

Security @ n*? What a joke.
