J.T. O'Sullivan starting QB for the 49ers?
A co-worker told me this was announced this morning on KNBR, I cant find anything about it, but if this is the case Im returning my season tickets and demanding my money back.

He's a talented guy. Ripped in college. If he's been putting in the work he might do just fine.

It must have been on the Nolan show, Tuesday 8AM.
He may have missed understood, I can see JT O starting for the nest preseason game. It's still too early for the 9ers to announce who is the real starter, Smith and Hill has only had a few weeks of camp to learn a new offense.

I am also mad becuase of all of the talk about Alex Smith and his confidence. What does naming O'Sullivan starter do to SMith's confidence level? It destroys it, any hope of Martz breathing life into Smith's career is over if he is not the starting QB on opening day.

This has got to have something to do with wanting to get people reps in preseason because they have a lot invested in smith and he did pretty well his second year.
oh... and J.T.'s only played for 8 teams.... haaaa.
And I don't think that means anything except that he's a capable back up and those are great trade padding.

Alex needs a chance now that he is healthy and that his offensive cordinator isn't completely incompetant. He has been setup for failure here, played injured most of the snaps he took last season and has had 4 different offenses in 4 years.
