JV,
i knew this day was coming. i'm very sorry that it has. you and Lu were part of my very first drive/meet "Three Valley's of Wine." back 3-4 years ago. most of the people that made that drive are still friends today.
i would love to stay in touch and take time to see each other from time to time.
are you going to trick out the new car?
what color is it? silver? blue?
say hello to Lu from Christina and i and don't be ashamed of your car. enjoy it.

Huck,
I used to do some writing for Penthouse, but Guccioni said I was a bit to risque' at the time.
Rich,
I believe I will still lurk around here and maybe find out where you guys are at ...just drop by unannounced.
This one is Black with black top black leather and fully loaded, I do not plan on having to do anything to this car.
And I did not go with a turbo this time though I could have ordered one and last night it paid off when I filled my tank for under thirty dollars with 87 octane!
We went to Monterey for dinner. At only 177 HP and not being very light the car still wants to go well past the 70MPH break in max speed. Tonight after we return from lunch in SFO, the 500 mile limit will be up.
Another thing... top down, 15" from the rear wheel and at about lug nut level to the American obesity problem makes 70 MPH feel like 120 in the suby! Lu tensed up like a puppy shatting a peach pit every time I passed or got stuck at a light next to anything bigger than a SMART car.
It definitely is fun to drive. The shifter makes the STI short throw I am used to seem LOOONG. So far , and I can't believe I am saying this, GM did a great job. Now what happens in 1 year and it's falling appart on me, that's another story, but for now fun, fun , fun.

Nutshell review
Fun to drive, excellent mileage, tiny.
I need to go to an empty lot with some cones to fugure out to judge my corners for parking!
Now the picture of the garage is how I feel evry guys garage should look...
One Subaru, one "Chick" car and one Italian motorcycle.... too bad I already have a prospective taker for the Subaru.

NO...NO...NO!!!
No, I am not as wide as a Vette and as short as an S2K, it looks more like a can of tuna fish with two plums...oh wait, you meant the car. Sorry
NO, Rich, the damn wheels are fine!Do NOT get me started down that road again.
AND NO to any V-8 conversions!
man you guys, I am glad I am not a recovering heroin addict, you all would be no help...
"JV, I'm happy that your clean but check out this shiny new fix kit"
Gee thanks, Rich.
"Hey, JV, check out this little baggy of V-8 Afghanistani horse, they call it the Mallet-In -Your-Nuts"
Golly , thanks, Chris
I love you guys, I hate the aftermarket. Not to change the subject but...
1) is Jeremy off to Japan again? Damn him
2) Did anyone catch the name of that Hotel John Mark Karr was staying at in Thailand? Heard they had some sort of a special rate deal going, 7 days, meals, guided tours and some kind of in room spa service.

Can of tuna fish, you know,Huck, short but wide (put tuna can on its side for visual)
Sorry about the envelope pushing, I was just kidding about the sex change, just the hair removal alone would be out of this world.
The spa treatment, well that's a go. I do not like the particular age group that the blue eyed freak (Karr) frequents. I'll let him and his clown suit friends suffer broom handles up the rectum all day in prison. Not my crowd..
18 +, braces or prosthetic braces for the duration of the session, pig tails and the little uniform with the socks and black/white shoes....deep tissue muscle work...very relaxing.(the ones Jeremy takes pictures of in Japan)
On a serious note...the SUBY IS SOLD. Just me and my chick car now. Good bye cruel world.
You are all the best!
Thanks to all my friends here, thank you Alex for giving me and everyone here such a great forum, thank you Brucelee for not shooting me yet...
and thank you Fuji Heavy Industries for making the funnest car in the world.
I hope the guy that bought my car finds you all as great as I have, he's a dear family friend. His name is Lenny and I made signing with I-club up a stipulation for WRX ownership.
Ciao Tutti!
