Anybody involved in the S880 crash last night (10:10PM)?

So I was on my way home from San Leandro last night. Right around the Fremont Automall area, I saw at least 6 cars flying by ~100 MPH. I saw a civic, integra, jetta, and few others. They went by so quick I didn't really get a good look at them. Soonest they flew by, I said to myself, that a bunch of stupid *******! They are going to get someone killed!

About 10 seconds later, I saw a black/dark blue civic crashed to my left and 3-4 crashed on the right. I didn't actually see the crash because of the SUV in front of me and the big rig to my right. I had just enough space to squeeze through the crashed civic and other vehicles on my right.

I remember seeing a suby ahead of me (not part of the stupid crew). But things happened so fast, I didn't really get to see what was crashed on the right hand side. I hope those that crashed are the ones that were driving around like bunch of idiots, and no one else.

you should have stopped. A witness to the way they were driving could be crucial for any innocent folks involved....especially if one of them in another import.

I saw at least two other cars pulled to the side after the crash. Plus I didn't actually SEE the accident, I don't know how much help I could have been.

ah good. As long as someone stopped.

I stopped at an accident where someone had obviously stopped then LEFT. 2 people died. Accident was so gnarly that a family stopped to help and I told them to leave so their kids didn't have to see it.

I couldn't find anything on the accident so I'm guessing everyone survived.

last winter my buddy and I made the santa rosa to tahoe drive about 15 times. Snow boarding. Well 14/15 times we went, we stopped to help someone in an accident. 7 were from icy road spin outs. even in sonoma county, yeah wine country, we get snow once a year and ice on roads all the time.. 4 times we actually saw cars sliding across the free way and slamming in the other side. we stopped everytime, like this one time a mini van looked like she felt like drifting across the freeway, hit the right shoulder and flipped UP the hill. then back down.

Im so glad in those case for the AWD.. saving grace i tell ya.
