weird..acer netbook here too and i could only get it to work on one of the three usb ports...had to mark underneath so I dont make the same mistake lol

I tried it on my friends Mac and it didn't work. Yes I have windows 7, yes i've tried xp, and ubuntu, I've tried 3 different pc's, cables, it does charged plugged into a wall outlet but thats pretty much it, im goign to apple store in a bit to see if they'll be of any help. Onizuka, ill take you up on that offer if all else falls through.

The apple store couldn't even fix it, I contacted the seller and she refunded me my money.
