So I have a new Iphone 4s I want to use. I currently have an iphone 3gs. Can I cut my sim card to fit the 4s or do I need to contact at&t for a new sim card?

 

I would just go into a store and have them switch it over for ya. Safer that way.

 

you can either cut it to make it into a microsim. or go to at&t and get a free one...

Definitely go to ATT for a new microsim, you CAN cut the current SIM but use a SIM Cutter thats like a stapler/pill cutter style otherwise using scissors will cause the phone to read "NO SIM" if not cut precisely perfect.

 

The imei code is different on the 4s and it's also hspa plus so it will provide you with faster data. Your old 3gs won't get you that faster data speed. Plus the sim is free so why not get one

 

I bought a SIM cutter but ended up getting a micro SIM card from the store instead. It's free like others have said, so why not just get it?
