I'm about to get a new windshield... I'll let you know how that goes with Safeco.

Get renter's insurance... FOR REAL. It's super cheap, and covers anything in your car as well. It is a necessity!!

Bodily Injury: 50k each person / 100k each accident
Property Damage: 50k
Uninsured motorist: 50k / 100k

** Technically my parents name is also on the account (I assume our agent put it in that way so I could get the extra discounts they have on their account - driver safety record, california good driver, loyalty, multicar). When I was pricing out other companies with similar coverage, my quotes were closer to $100/mo.

Let me know if you want my agent's contact info. He's not local to you (Los Gatos) but he'll take good care of you (I've never had to go to his office because he emails everything). He's been insuring my entire family for prolly 20 yrs.

02 M3 and 03 Wrx i pay around 2k a year for them together. 800 for the wrx and 1200 for the m3 full coverage

edit: i am also 25 with 1 point of record too. should be lower soon since the point is going to go away soon. also insurance is with AAA and the cost includes their 100 miles road side service.

Haha.. That's not Don Williams Insurance is it? I have Safeco through there and they rock. Tyler is the best and super helpful - I will not get insurance from anyone else in the future.. I will look up my policy, but I believe I pay around $280/mo for my 5 cars for my wife and I.

To be honest I'm not sure what it is. My parents just tell me to pay $230 a month so I do. I'm still on their policy, even with me owning a house they don't give me any discount worth while. $440 a month on an 09 STi psssh

If you want my statefarm agent's info, let me know. He's in Fremont. I originally wanted to keep my plan completely separate from my parents but when he told me how cheap it was, I didn't dare separate. I can live with their name on my insurance policy
