Insurance rates - how much do you pay?

My insurance sucks, my car got broken into and they didn't cover anything except for the glass, which they wanted a $500 deductible to fix a $200 piece of glass.....

I want to pool info on everyone's insurance and coverage, not just "how much do you pay". Lets keep this legit and follow this format:

***** Forgot to add age, be sure to edit guys
Age: 25
Car: 04 STI
Provider: Mercury Insurance
Coverage: Full Coverage
Bodily Injury: $100,000 Each person $300,000
Property Damage: $50,000
Uninsured motorist: $3,500
Collision: yes
Comprehensive: yes
Rental car: no
Towing: yes
Deductible: $500
Discounts: Good driver and Multi Vehicle
Tickets / accidents: 1 speeding ticket
Cost: $180/mo

I pay about the same price as you do. My Jeep had its window busted out a few months back and they took jump bag (EMT stuff), recovery gear, jumper cables, and I just paid out of pocket for the new window and to replace all my stuff because it would have cost me more to pay the stupid deductable.Yea insurance is teh suxer.

Used to have Mercury, they were really good the past few years but they raised my policy slightly so I found Safeco through my credit union.

Yeah, I'm 35, married (probably both huge factors), and I have my homeowners through them, too.

Check to see what mileage they have you down for, because that really took a chunk out for us. We hardly put any miles on it anymore.

Yeah, I have a ton of good things going for me. It would be impossible for a young, single, non-homeowner with a newer car to get rates anywhere near mine.

Whew, I just checked. I had read it wrong and thought my yearly payment was for 6 months.

Down to $84/month.

Hmmm... I'm not sure about either of those.... didnt really ask because my neighbor has his own auto glass/repair business and my Safeco renters insurance would cover personal property.

I was thinking about picking up a wrx , so i called my insurance to get a quote. They said the price for a wrx is 184 a month. I was quite baffled by the price so i asked why? because i have an sti that i pay 115.00 per month for. There answer, extreme cases of racer fraud, which was explained as kids damaging there own cars to claim insurance and then by racing parts with the money. I guess time to look into some thing else. Sad.
