Infineon Raceway 07-05-04??
Hey guys,
There's Bracket Racing at Infineon Raceway (a.k.a Sears Point) on Monday, the day after July 4th. I was wondering if anyone from here is about to go. I'm debating whether to go or not, and want some other suby's out there to meet and see them run.
Let me know if you guys are planning to go!

It's $20 for trophy class, and $50 for some other class but I wouldn't recommend racing in that one (it's like real dragsters, etc).

I really thought about making it out tomorrow, but I don't think I can.
REMEMBER!!!!!! Bracket drags start at 8am, so you want to get to the gates around 7:30-7:45. They only let in a certain amount of cars in there. Last time I went to the Brack Drags, they sold out before 8:30am.
Have fun guys.

It's pretty simple when you see it for yourself. Basically how fast your car is irrelevant to your success.
You set a dial in time for yourself, which you cannot break otherwise you get eliminated. You try to run as close to that time as possible, but still a little bit over it. (for example, if you set your dial in at 15 seconds, you should be running 15.001 idealy).
Your opponent will also use a dial in, and the slower guy of the two will get a headstart depending on the time difference between the two people. (i.e. the 15 second car would get a 2 second head start on the 13 sec car).
With exactly equal drivers, it does not matter what two cars you have as you will both cross the line at the same time. It's pretty much an all drivers race.
