There is an article about the car in last months Top Gear magazine. I'm not so sure about the Ice Blue color though

Yes it is a real car, no it will not be available in the states, I think Japan, England and maybe Australia only.

yeah, top gear had the stig put it to the track a long time ago. VS the Evo MR. As Avatar-X stated. It's not that much faster than a stock Evo 8 if i remember correctly according to their test..

That's because WR1 isn't the latest model, consider it an "04" car. They have new Imprezas (05) out including STi/Spec Cs and the limited WR with the new interiors and all the handling improvements.
