There's no section dedicated to questions that are specifically electrical;

Where do you guys think the best place to hard wire up a dc-ac converter in the interior of the car? I'm looking for some place to tap the electrical system that is as close to the battery as possible electrically in order to filter out transients. Trying to mount the converter under the dash on the passenger's side.

of course, the easy solution would be to run two wires through the hole in the firewall, but I'd really rather not put two more through there given how already cramped it is.

Any ideas?

 

Run the wires through the hole in the firewall for the boost gauge. There is plenty of room for what you'll need.
