Ok I'm SO embarassed to admit this...but I really dig this thing. Invoice is 31k and it's really well equipped. My wife's wagon packed with baby crap would trade in nicely for one of these.

But it's, A.) American, B.) An SUV. Currently pricing the Nissan Armada. Please don't hate me.

The Armada is nice, but it gets expensive when you add all the needed options in it.

The capabality to tow 9000lbs is kinda nice though, i'm sure Mrs. mexicanpizza will use that

Also, those 2g eclipses seem to have *JUST* enough (read like 1 mm) clearance for the bumper to go over the sidewalk. I cringe whenever I see a car like that parked perpendicular to the road where the tires are HITTING the curb.

I still do have one, and I STILL love it!

<lights flame thrower> I wouldn't buy a Nissan Titan OR Armada.....why? well, because, Nissan has made crappy little hoopty toy trucks for the past XX years, and this is a very new vehicle for them, esp. when it comes to the engine...Nissan doesnt have a whole lot of experience with V8's (not saying its gonna crap out on you) but I am biased toward the tried and true Chevy's....BTW, I wouldnt buy a Ford either. On that note, I would never buy a first or second year engine/Trans. (Chevy or not), they usually tend to still have bugs that need to be worked out.

Just my 2¢

edit:
I read an article a few months ago saying that SUVs get screwed if you curb them. The reason I remember is cuz I thot it was hilarious, cars "made to offroad" and if you hit a curb, the axle bends, easier than any other cars on the market.
you must be thinking of these new X-over luxury SUV's.....I can gurantee you, this is absolutely false with a full size SUV, They are typically built on a truck chassis, and are built for heavy duty applications, and curbing a wheel is nothing compared to driving through a dry boulder strewn creek bed, unless you pull an Ace Ventura move and try the ole "LLLLLIKE A GLOVE" manuver, and misjudge the curb and smack into it sideways, but that would bend the axle of anything.

LOL

I'm thinking for my next (2nd.) vehicle, a Toyota Tundra Extra Cab, with a Fabtech lift kit, fiberglass fenders, a Baja bumper, lights, etc. just like this:
