Yes, Sozo Sushi, it in Pleasanton, on Hopyard, I dont know the address but it is in the strip mall at the corner of Hopyard and Valley, not the strip mall w/ the Walgreens, but the one across the street.

I wish I knew of one since I live in Dooblin. But usually if I want good sushi, I head over to Ray's Sushi in San Lorenzo/Hayward area. It's 15minutes away, but their sushi is hella BIG!

Try Sozo, its over by the Hopyard (which has an awesome selection of beer).

Thumbs up I highly recommend this place...

If San Ramon is close enough for you Daniel, (its only one city north of Dublin), try this place:

Sakura, in the Crow Canyon Commons Shopping Center, nearby Albertsons.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The food is excellentbut price. The Sashimi (and of course Sushi) are always very fresh and high quality, as well as their cooked japanese dishes.
Tony-San is the owner and main sushi chef, and is very lively.
Full seating is available, but the sushi bar is where its at for me!
Smile Regardless of location, This is the best sushi place I've experienced:
Hatoba and Arirang in Concord
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hatoba's sashimi (and of course Sushi) is the best thing they do here.

Again, the sashimi is always very fresh and high quality.

This is one of the only places I've been to that serves really good UNI, the raw sea urchin specialty that I love.

Mr. Kim is the sushi chef, and is he's extremely talented.

They also serve a full Japanese cooked-food menu.

Note: This restaurant is owned and run entirely by Koreans, and Arirang is the Korean restaurant under the same roof. They offer a full Korean menu.

Again, full seating is available, but the sushi bar is always where its at for me!

Map & Driving directions available from above link

1099 Reganti Drive (Off Monument Blvd.)
Concord, CA 94518
(925) 609-8320

P.S: This is the only sushi place I go to anymore...

Sozo is good for sushi, however I would not order anything other then Sushi there. But they have awesome combo platters that are very good deals.

Just got back from Kawa Sushi in Livermore. Good food, nice place. It is off of 3rd street near downtown Livermore.

If you prefer quantity to quality, check out Todai in the Pleasanton mall. It is closer and all-you-can-eat.

Ive eaten there too, it is pretty good as well. They are good for Tempura and Teriyaki, the Sushi is so-so. I think Sozo is much better.
