I have no doubt that they are sequential plates... but I mean come on!
I would love to see the poor schmuck that got "4SSH013" plates for their car.

I've also driven the new M5 and that was also a great car, but not nearly as cool as the M3 was.

Daniel - I agree with you 110% regarding the new M3. Did you drive the 6 speed manual or 7 spd dual clutch? I also drove my friends a while back & it's amazing. He has the 7 spd DCT tranny & using the paddle shifters is epic win. Not having to let off the gas in between shifts is badass. Power is very linear up to the 8400 rpm redline. It will be my next car one day....or the GT-R lol

True that Preston, it was the 7 speed which took some getting used to since I'm using to my 6speed manual... But after a few mins I was fine with it and I went MOBBING. What a great car!
In return I let him drive my car and he said that he liked it a lot. He said it was very rugged and you could just toss it around anywhere you wanted, He did mentioned that it was a bit rough, but he liked the "rally car" inspired ruggedness.
When asked to compare, he said he couldn't. He said they were totally different cars and he's 100% right. My STi isn't stock, it has exhaust and an access port tuned by GST as well as some suspension mods done so his car wasnt THAT much faster then mine... Who am I kidding, his car was faster then mine.
But like we both agreed, two totally different cars that you really can't compare in any way other then the fact that they have 4 wheels and a steering wheel. Everything inside those parameters is totally different.
I would really like to get an M3... Maybe cash out my stocks and buy one?
Or should I wait till the market gets back up to normal and buy a GT3?
Hmmmm, I wonder which I;d like better, a new M3 or new GT3? What do you think.

E92 M3 is a sick car. I test drove a 6spd M3 at the dealership a while ago when they first came out. The overall package of that car just feels right. Power, handling, brakes, steering, etc. BMW really got it right this time.
When I first started it up and heard the engine, it reminded me very much of the E39 M5. All the power and torque but in a lighter, better handling chassis. The car really comes alive when you turn on the M-Dynamic mode. Night and day difference in response and power delivery.
However, compared to a Porsche...guess who wins.
