Wish I had one
Can only find very limited info on this car, the Vers VII STi RA Spec C.
For some reason the idea behind this model has got a grip on me. I think the Vers VII's look awesome in stark white, especially the RA, with no wing or skirts or anything....just that cool roof vent. I have seen pics of these with the gold Prodrives. The car must be a blast with the STi 2.0 with roller-bearing turbo and less weight.
It would be fun to build up a "US-spec" version....just find a white WRX with no options, gut the interior, bolt on some P7's (gold), and run the hp up to 300. I guess we'd have to do without the 6 spd and adj diff, but could upgrade the brakes and add the 12L water tank in the trunk.
Anybody ever think of this too?

The Type RA Spec C is as close to the WRC as your going to get without $100,000. It's a mean stripped down (no AC, radio, ABS, airbags, sound-deadening material, undercoating, trunk floor, or even passenger sunvisor all in the name of less weight) meat and patatoes car. The 22b is a Type R with a special 2.2 liter engine. The Type R became the Type RA. The s202 is a Type RA Spec C with some of the extras put back in (AC and electric windows to name a few) but its not just a plush version of Type RA. The Subaru engineers added some extra bits like a remapped ECU and special cams and ball bearing turbo. If you want more info, look around its out there. Unfortunatly the likely hood of anything close to any of those cars is very slim because the 22b and s202 were 400 car limited edition batches that Subaru produced for special occasions like World Rally wins and for the Type RA Spec C mostly crash tests and demand are keeping it out of the states.
