i just went to chabot to shoot my m44 for the first time... good god that thing bites and it's hella loud too. i forgot to put my hear pugs back in on one shoot and my ears were ringing for an hour. i want an AR15 now..... can you still buy them?

in kalifornia, AR-15 style rifles can still be bought and owned LEGALLY, assuming you do one of two things to it.

1. remove all the "evil" features out of it (pistol grip, muzzle brake, etc) and you can have a removable magazine.

2. install all of the evil features and you cannot have a "removable" magazine.

actually, FA weapons in kalif are NOT ILLEGAL.

there are still a few people who owned them prior to the state going to S**T and well...

what you need is a permit from the state to go get them these days. guess what... they wont give them out.
