I went to the range today and pissed everyone off.
gunmtl,
Full Autos are illegal in CA. (for the law abiding anyway I'm sure the local gang bangers, and MS-13 can get whatever they want.)
But those guns are still legal.. For now.

You are right...fully automatic is illegal in California.

I got an AR with a muzzle break that causes the shooters next to me to give me dirty looks...and an M1A with a standard barrel is pretty loud...
But that short barrel M1A you have must have sucked big time for your neighbors...
Anyone know of any BLM land I can use thats near the south bay?

You may want to look into getting a 91/30, as the extra length helps with accuracy. If you're looking to get rid of your M44, while I don't really NEED one, I might be willing to take if off your hands.

Which range was that? The one I usually go to is full of frickin crazy people, I need to find a place to shoot where there are semi-normal people...Nice guns btw...I usually shoot a Remington 870 or a Glock .10...Lately I have had to hold over on paintball and airsoft..:-(

Bump firing is where you keep your finger still and straight over the trigger, you push the gun forward to depress the trigger, and use the recoil of the gun to make it fire rapidly. basically the gun moves back and forth instead of your finger.
edit:
nevermind he slowed down when shooting that last mag, he was not bump firing.

Wow, you all are seriously misinformed... Fully automatic firearms are legal in California, it's just ridiculously difficult to get them, so most people don't try. Suppressors, on the other hand, are illegal in the state.
