When explaining the crash to your insurance company, MAKE SURE you state that you hit the animal, even slightly brushed it.

If you don't, the crash will be your fault.

BTW, I'm calling bs on this crash, and your gun shot story.

I'll only accept as proof the following:

A sworn certified statment from the deer you hit.
11" x 17" glossy pictures of the car, the gun, the wound, the blood spatter, and what you had for dinner three weeks ago.

if anything from this we all learned is this, hit the animals do not swerve, animals are movable objects trees and telephone poles aren't. that sucks.

hard to say, i've swerved and thats been the only things thats saved me from hitting some.........you win some you loose some. If you can't swerve somewhere safe gotta just hit it........but easier said than done................
