Wondering if subaru has any "smaller" seats or "thighter" for me..i seem to slide around too much on my current seats around turns..any suggestions or are the pricey Brides seats my only option?

Upgrading your seats is the best mod you can do for your car BY FAR. Nothing else has more of an impact than upgrading seats.
I have a Sparco EVO 2 (same as the LIC race car) in my car and I couldn't be happier (they come in diff sizes).
Here's my youtube video documenting the seat:

I paid a little over $600 for the seat and another $150ish for the mounting hardware. I had to have GST custom fab my mounts due to my height (I'm 6'6) but you shouldn't have any issues with the regular mounts that come with it. Watch the video for yourself and see how much diff the seat is VS stock. It also sits lower for a lower center of gravity. The seat holds you in place so you don't slide around AT ALL. If you're close to San Jose I'll let you sit in my car to test it out.

you could try some race seats though i wouldn't really call them very comfy.. depends what your objectives are.. i like my racetech, serves its purpose but totally not comfy

I loved the feel of my stock bugeye seats over the 04 sti seats i currently have. Bugeye seats felt way better, but the sti seats look way better

if you wanted to stick with a stock seat, id say the bugeye seats are super comfortable. another good upgrade would be the v7 seats. they hug your fairly well, much better compared to stock.
if you have the extra cash and in the market for aftermarket seats, ive been super happy with my recaro SRD seats. ive had this seat since my old wrx and had to get another one when i got my sti.
