Ug, same thing happened to me, only my auto-pay was never set up even though they told me it was, so I was overdue two times which pissed me the hell off.

The internet is the win however

I hated that with them.
Ya, i think there was a pause.. but I used the menu to switch and not the ^ & Down. I guess I never noticed.

I have been cable free for over a year now and get all my stuff via Hulu, Surf_the_channel, etc. Lower quality but I'll pocket the $60+ a month and spend it on my DvD library and pool games at my local bar.

I was paying $140+/month for internet, phone, cable, DVR. So I dropped the phone. Now I pay $140+/month for internet + cable. It's ridiculous. I watch 6, maybe 8 channels tops. Why on earth do I have to pay for the other 200?

Where are our options? Where's the competition? I thought this was San Francisco, why is nobody in city hall screaming MONOPOLY?

So, next week, I've decided I'm cancelling Comcast. I can watch almost all of the shows I like on Itunes and they only cost $10-20/season. Done.

I'm in Union City and i have U-verse. The whole home DVR is awesome. You can stream recorded shows from dvr to other recievers in the house. Best feature IMHO. no having to get a second dvr
