the later versions of the 680's fixed the hiss i believe. also, logitech released a new set of high end speakers to replace the 680's. the Z5500's. they supposedly fixed all the flaws of the 680's. they are $$ tho. ~Klipsch money. I'm not saying 1 is better than the other. i havent used logitechs or klipsch's. (i use my old busted Aiwa stereo minisystem as my computer speakers)
