Yea, but I'm not getting rid of my stockers. I saw that earlier. And he didnt give any details...depending on what kind of set it is, not worth it anyway.

From: If you can't fix it with a hammer,
Car Info: you've got an electrical problem.
Buy a reallllly good set of brake pads for the street, And a set to swap out for track days, Track pads dont work on the street.

Then get yourself some good slotted rotors, lightweight 2 piece
Good dash 5 or 4 brake lines,
Swap out the brake fluid for the heat range your be using at the track and call it a day.
Last upgrade your tires... Mostly overlooked. Your brake system is only as good as your traction.
You will get more bang for your buck that way, The TR/WRX Calipers are great and shouldnt been over looked. I have put mine thru hell...... 6k miles in the dirt, 1-2k on the track and 70k on the street, This all since oct 2005.

Only draw back with my set up... I didnt like the way they stopped on ice.

Yea, I will be getting new rubber put on my new rota's, and I will be picking up a separate pair of rims and tires for the track. Possibly nitto NT01's or cups or something. I hear a lot of great things bout the nitto's. I have lines fluid and pads. Trust me, the BBK is almost a must. Rotors won't make as big of a change that I need. A compromise between track and street pads can be easily made...plenty of cars are able to do it brand new. I generally don't drive on ice lol

Ah what kinda driving will you be doing?

Rotors can make a huge change. Unspring weight , rotational mass, thermal properties. Not to mention slotted rotors and what they can do for a brake pad.
Its your money....

One of four my own bikes. I have since upgraded to ceramic rotors , carbon pads, Mono block calipers, Yes they are radial mount already. oh and carbon wheels....
Do I drive it on the street anymore. NO Why you ask? Because the carbon pads take a bit to get up to temp. The operating temp is just not the best for the street.
There is a line between: street car, wanabe racer and racer... I still see no reason to upgrade,
But its your money. I'm fully aware of what the limits of my wrx braking system is... One of the reasons why i have left most of it alone.

Just like I see at the track all the time.. most people cant use the oem stuff correctly so the bandaid to poor driving and use of the brakes is to upgrade.....

Not knocking on you... But... I've seen it many times over... Been to a track school at all?
