I live in Mtn. View --where to go for service?

I didn't see a FAQ so I thought I'd post this newbie question anyway. After skimming a few recent threads, it looks like Stevens Creek Subaru is a place to stay away from (Why?) I already went there for 1 oil change, and it seemed to work out fine (long waiting list to get in, though).

I think there's a Subaru dealer in Redwood City... that would be the next closest one. I'm willing to go further out, though.

Cheers.

I have mixed thoughts about Carlsen. I had them do my 15k and 30k service. The 15k was handled by Robert Jew and possibly by ckevin. That was excellent: in addition to the 15k standard service they adjusted my clutch, brakes, etc. and made the car feel like new. The 30k service was horrible. I had asked them to take care of an alignment issue and look for clutch shudder. When I got the car back the fuel reserve light was on, 15+ extra miles were on the odometer, the radio volume was set at a deafening "23", and my car still felt like ****: they couldn't repro the clutch shudder and the alignment was still jacked. They didn't adjust my clutch or brakes either.

If you go to Carlsen ask for ckevin to work on your car. Otherwise, some a-hole monkey might dick with it.
