Just so you guys know:

1) You can pay a flat fine of $100 and keep the tint on your windows, or $10 and remove it.

2) You can tint the front windows as dark as you want provided you have a legally written note from your eye doctor stating so.

my wife works for an eye doctor. but i don't know if he'll write any notes about your eyes.

I got my car pulled over for tinted windows...sucks!! If you know any cop within California they can sign off the ticket for you..it doesnt have to be in the city where you got pulled over for..
