Well the kid is a Freshmen this year in high school. To be honest I was not around Mon or Tues I will be talking ivver things tomorrow morning when I see his dad. The CF Body is in one piece, it was just the mirror piece aka glass that broke. It must of popped off and when it hit the ground it shattered. I can call my insurance and claim it, no need to do so. I will discuss the matter with my neighbor tomorrow.

Of course as pissed off as I was I did not go start **** with my neighbors, I could of but chose not to. Drunken confrontations are not fun, and these guys are pretty much jerks. They do not care for anyone on our block besides themselves and like 2 other neighbors around my house. My parents of all people have already given me more then enough money to buy a brand new set of mirrors if I cannot get replacement glass for the mirrors from APR.

If that is the case I will go to my one of my old jobs and buy a small sheet of mirror glass and have them cut me a bunch of blanks. Should be less then $50 to do so.

I was mainly pissed off at the kid for breaking my glass because I just put them on a week ago yesterday being Monday. So in 6 days my mirrors were already damaged. I was also mad because in order to tighten up the screw that secures the ball on the end of the rod that holds up the CF Cup I have to remove the door card, and mirror itself. Or I thought I to do all of that, after looking at it tonight after I got home from the lake I noticed I did not have to do that.

So yeah, a lot of this is just random PMS'n if you'd like to call that. I hate the fact that my neighbors kids hit my car with basketballs, footballs, and tennis ***** and who knows whatever else!!!!!!!! I also have marks on my car like they were playing tic tac toe and crap on my car, even signs of one of them sliding across my hood!!!!!!!!! So yeah, I just had to vent. Don't get me wrong but I believe I have the right to be pissed off. My car is my ADDICTION and I do not go for people messing around with my car.

I feel you. When I was living in a old house, there were 3 teenagers living right in front my home. They always played basketball, threw small rocks, and so on. Their front yard was so messy from them playing with rocks and so on. I talked to them a few times, but they had lots of attitude. No luck. Their parents were ignorant as well. Eventually, I noticed my car got several scratches and dings. I didn't a space in the garage to park. So, I know how you feel. Honestly, I was hoping there were speeding cars that would ran them over. I don't give a @$#% about such careless kids. Well, I moved now. Much better here.

@#$# those kids.

Well I have it back on my car, it broke off the the upper right hand corner of the glass. I looked online at APR's site and areplacement is $75 or so from them. Need to find a APR Retailer and go through them, my parents offered to pay for it so that there are no problems betweens us and the neighbors. My only thing is that the neighbor's kid broke my part, not my parents. I mean when I threw a baseball and hit my neighbor's car one time I told him and he was like fix it. He came back and sad he needed $1,000 to fix it, I was so mad and angered by that BS. I eventually worked something out with him and washed and detailed his car instead of having to pay him for the lil dent I put on his hood. So I know how is to have to take care of someone elses car, accidents are accidents. I have pretty much gotten over it, I just want my neighbor to have his kid do what is right. If it means they go down to the park or play in their huge *** yard instead then it helps out a lot!

Not true.

If his property is damaging your property, he's responsible for said damage.
Does he own the house or is he renting?

I (& all the other neighbors) had problems with kids running rampant on our street too. God forbid a Parent or an Adult relative would ever take so much as a minute to have supervised them. It didn't happen. One day they had written some extremely vulgar things on the passenger side of my truck (in the dirt). It was most likely something they learned on the playground that day. I left notes on the door at both houses, and only one parent responded. He was very cool. I wasn't mad that the kids were being kids, I was mad at the fact that the parents of these kids have a "we don't give a sh*t" attitude about the kids behavior. Around the corner from our street (literally) there is a Rec center with a pool, tennis courts, you name it, etc., but the parents just dump the kids in the street and forget about them. The kids damaged some of the other neighbors property, and vehicles, and things got heated. The one guy moved (Thank God) and due to the friction, the other kids no longer run rampant and play baseball, football, skateboard, and scream obscenities that could make a sailor cringe. We got our peace & quiet back. How the situation is handled with your mirror is the parents responsibility to do the right thing. I hope things work out for you.

We pushed it and his insurance said it was an "act of god" and that is not covered under insurance.
