I have seen mini vans with 0-60 times. Does it mean they are pushing it as the next great dragster? NO its just a measure of performance that most people can understand. Im sure they would put in 100-0 times as well if half as many people knew wtf that meant.

Then explain something to me. How in the world did they get a 0-60 time of 5.4 sec without beating on the car. Your trying to tell me that they got that time without launching it! And about the noob comment, I've been driving cars since I was a kid. My father used to race cars, and he used to teach me! Don't go around accusing someone of something if you don't know what you're talking about.

dre . your trip-N bro.. get a damn job already your getting way more pissy then before..

i know that some things do void your warranty but it seems like everything short of a finger print on the engine is fair enough reason to deny a repair under warranty...

and can you blame the people that are breaking their cars? these wrx are junk! and are far from capable of handling the punishments that are marketed for the car... that offroad commercial makes me sick! and the mountain road race/"drive" is retarded... yeah it can handle it but it sure wont last...

BTW: people.. you have to remember that most humans believe what they see.

So uhh, feeling the performance of your car and breaking something is against warranty. BS to you, BS to SOA. If you bought a car with that much HP and Torque for that, you'd expect to feel all of it.

No one in the ****ING world purchases a corvette just to go 70mph on the freeway all the time.

No one in the world buys a 1000hp engine to use only 200 of it. All engine parts should withstand all parts of it's power, if anything breaks they should fix it. I don't care if it was just one time you were at WOT, or at WOT everyday of the week. If any company is worried about parts breaking, they shouldn't put that much power under the hood.

I know your car would eventually get worn down faster for beating it all the time, SOA should have been aware of that.

Maybe some infomercials should be "All wheel drive, 300hp, but don't use the power ever if you want to stay warrantied!"

They didn't say not to use the power. They said, "use the power, but you're expected not to shift/clutch like a moron". If you beat the **** out of a stock WRX, the VAST MAJORITY of the parts will easily withstand it. I regularly beat the schnot out of my car, and I have 36k on the tranny. However, I'm fully prepared to fix it WHEN it breaks. If you don't have the money to fix what you break, you shouldn't play.

Just ask your parents to fix it.

You get a baby too:

no where in my post did i say anything about people driving stock cars should have their warranty voided for going over hte pseed limit or pushing things a little. BUT DROPPING YOUR CLUTCH IN A AWD CAR IS ****ING STUPID. Plain and simple,

AND STUPIDITY IS NOT WARRANTIED is all i am saying.

Okay, all I want to say is that, what frustrates a lot of people about SOA is that they wont cover the warranty no matter how someone drives the car. Yes, dropping the clutch was probably not a smart thing to do, but I think that the car should be able to take it once in awhile. After talking with everyone on this site, I have stopped doing that(I only did it a couple of times). I'm am so worried that the tranny might break and SOA might not fix it. I baby the car now. If I knew that it would have caused all this High School drama, I wouldn't have posted.
