I agree. Mailboxes is rad. Although, the Wilder side is fantastic for night riding. I had some epic rides out there for sure.

I sold my big bikes a while back, but can still (slowly) tackle Chupacabra and Dead Campers. If I'm not working, which I'm about to be doing a lot of on the weekends, I'd love to come out!

Haha dead campers is an intense, steep trail. I rarely ride now, but when I was a student at UCSC, that was the only trail that would actually cause my brakes to smoke.

I think I took this by mistake once. This is the trail that goes down at the end of pipeline right? Its fun until the intense singletrack rock garden.....then at the very end it mellows out and drops you right into the road?

Slowly, HA! I race dh and was doing what I could to keep up!

Let me know if this gets finalized or anything because I will need to request a Saturday off pretty far out.

Funny thing is... right after this popped up 2 different things on facebook about MTB in SC popped up.

One was a Cam McCaul video and the other was a site that I think it trying to go through the legal channels to save MTB trails in SC County.

I posted an article about the mtn biking being illegal. But ive passed plenty of rangers who wave and say have a nice day.

We were gonna go ride a while back i remember but i ended uo not being able to go. Im gonna start doing ucsc weekdays in the morning. Weekends are offlimits thats my down time usually
