Question I-Club Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Day?

Hello to everyone. So I recently bought 2 mountain bikes and thought it be cool to go on an I-Club biking trail. Wilder Ranch is right off Highway 1 and has some pretty sweet easy/mid level trails. I know nothing about mountain biking and I went this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone interested? February 22nd, 10am depending on the weather. We could include a sweet *** drive through Bonny Doon's windy roads.

wish I didn't have school that day. most of Wilder is doable on a cross bike, but it's all really fun.

Should try riding up the main path at nisene marks.

I honestly haven't been out on the trails in SC in a long long time. I'm trying to work my butt back in to shape and get back on my bike. Hopefully this summer I'll be back on the trails. I'd like to do some shuttling in the demo forrest. My brother lives up there so I figure I can talk him in to shuttling and head up to his place after for beers and bbq. We've actually been talking about building some trails on his property. 16 acres.

When I have time to ride, I'm on the UCSC/Highway 9 side. Super fun.

Nice that would be fun. I havent ridden up nissene yet. I heard thats all climb. My old 30lb heckler could make it up there but my nomad isnt built for climbing as much as my heckler. Only 34lbs with all fox kashima and xo hardware tho!

And my butt is 5'10 240lbs. Im in no shape right now but I noticed even when im out of shape and go with my buddys who I havent ridden with in forever. We all stop at the same time to rest when climbing. And these kids are 6 pack cut.
They get just as winded as me lol.
I used to be the first one to the top without stopping but I need about a good month of solid riding everyday to get me back there again.

+1 I never ride anywhere else. I always park at rincon road parking lot and ride up uconn to the fire road and take the fire road all the way into wilder. Havent explored wilder side much yet.
