That's the one I'm looking at but I don't know if it's strong enough for what I need. The front of my caddy is HEAVY. Not 4000 pounds heavy but probably 2800 pounds.

But I need a nice long low jack to do it. That car is LOW!

My old craftsman held up just fine. I used it a LOT and for a long time. It was still working just fine when it got stolen. But I don't think the jacks are covered under the... if it brakes return it that they do.

but the omega jacks are always top rated.

Dude, I have the 3 ton non-low profile one and it could easily pick the whole WRX up. It is like it is saying "is that ALL?" LOL. Spend a bit more and get the 3 or 3.5 ton low pro and I think you'd be fine.

There's always the 10 ton with air too

I know that the Costco off Automation Parkway has a ton of them in stock.
+1 for Arcon jack from Costco.

i think the 3 ton would do.

I like a jack that can pick up the whole side of my WRX if I want it to. The caddy is friggin HEAVY. It's about 4400 pounds curb weight if I remember right. The motor and trans alone is like 1000 pounds. The front of my caddy is WAY heavy and I need a jack that can push it pretty far up without having to worry about blowing a jack. The 1.5 tons are scary. 2 tons are fine but I like a jack that's built to do more... it's like building a motor. If you build one that's meant for 400hp and you run 400hp... just not gonna last like one that's built to run 500 but is only running 400.

i'll save some dough and get that 3 ton.

I need one soon.

I have had my Harbor Freight low profile jack for almost 4 years now and havent had a single issue with it. Not one.

The use it has gotten over those 4 years have been moderate to extreme.

I think I spent about $135 on it back then and the price is pretty much the same.

Not only is it low profile, but it lifts to a higher maximum height than any of the others at that price range.

I would highly recommend it if you arent looking to break the bank.
