hey everyone,

how traffic on highway 80 comming back from tahoe during the week?

goin up on wednesday and i cant decide what time i wanna leave from there.

what time? There can always be sac traffic but once you are past sac it should be fine

 

if you're coming in the morning it is pretty bad in different spots. tahoe you will be coming from 50 then it is real bad in sacramento in the morning. 80 is pretty bad in vacavile, valejo and anything after. soo good luck.

 

well i am not too worried about the morning i plan on leaving from here about 8am and getting there around 11am

im asking what time at night is the traffic the worst?

im going to leave tahoe around 4pm probably and try to get back around 8ish, without driving like a ****.

(actually even if you do speed and drive like an idiot its only like a 10 minute difference lol)

 

then you have nothing to worry about. hwy 50 gets a bit of a jam between 4-7pm until you get out of sacramento, then you're good.

 

its not that bad during the week. I always get stuck for about 15 minutes in SAC and about 15 minutes in berkeley.

 

i just got back a few min ago.

sac traffic sux @ the 5 interchange..

 

I left for tahoe on thur at 8pm, no traffic at all
came back sat at 9am and no traffic either

 

parking lot, nuff said
