wd40 works fine on o-ring chains. i use it to flush water after i clean my DID 520vm. x ring. have had the chain for 1.5 years, and no lost o-rings. the chain has proly 1000 off road miles....
and this guy, although i understand the thought process of making it easier, is just another example of Darwins thoery working itself out. if he was truly too weak, it would have taken his arm into the the wheel, and then his head would have smacked/stabbed by something that would have killed him.
i consider him lucky he got away with what he did. bet he doesnt do anything like that again. action extinct!
