I would look at Carlsen Subaru in Seaside. I got my WRX Limited for 25120 back at the end of November.

For $25-$30k I got a used VW R32. The best I could find was around $29k OTD from Carlsen for an "urban grey" '07 Limited wagon. There were a few '06s in Steel Grey (same color) for around $26k but they never materialized when actually pursued. Someone was even kind enough to check their local dealer for one I found via internet, but it too just wasn't there. If I could have found one for $23-$25k I would have bought one for sure, but couldn't swing almost $30k for one when I got my '03 sedan for $25k OTD w/ extras after a really short and nice chat at Santa Cruz.

I coulda been shopping at the wrong time too - Santa Cruz for example didn't have any '06s left and were not making deals on the '07s. I miss Subies but this R32 is a blast and very different. I still have the Justy.. Haha.. As far as an EVO though, nah - not interested. I haven't driven one and I guess I would like to on a track, but for that I would have just kept my '01 coupe which I actually really do miss

R32s sound sooooo awesome and are indeed a blast to drive! I've driven a couple and they really are great. Good choice
