how much fun on tracks with 4EAT

i know i'm lame for driving a 4EAT wrx, but morning bay bridge traffic and parallel parking on slopes got tiring fast, and i'm lazy like that.
Just wonder how much fun could be had going to the tracks (or autocross) with 4EATs, are they worth it?

They are still fun. Auto-x is especially cause you never really have to shift. Start off in 1st, then shift to 2nd and you can pretty much keep it in second the whole time.

Track days are a little different. They are still fun to do, but would be more fun with a manual. But since there is a delay with the auto downshifting itself using the throttle, you have to gas it early getting out of a turn to get power. But I've done 2 track days with my auto and I loved every minute of it.

it's still fun. It would be a lot better with an upgraded TC and Big Brakes though.
