try getting a ticket for 85 in a 50 w/ a double fine zone. That ticket was 527 dollars plus they told me to put my front license plate back on which had to be signed off by an officer.

i dont know if you know where im talkin about dr3, but i was heading south from ukiah, and i hit this long hill and hit it in neutral and coasted at like 70, and a chp pulled me over saying i was goin 80 and i asked to see the radar, and hes all welllllll im only gonna write you for goin 70

it was a 55 zone, so it wasnt THAT bad, still cost me like 300 bux but oh well.. i never cleared it in court either for traffic school.. so i guess thats why my insurance is almost 500 bux on my wrx.

4 points is a LOT. what u save in ticket cost you lose when your insurance jacks you!

if it makes dre feel any better, my friends brother got a ticket on 5 for 99. the ticket was ~$800! he had to pay it in installments!

4 pts in CA = 6 month license suspension, I'd rather pay 3 times as much and take 2 pts.

Actually I've disciplined myself to keep it under 100, ....getting old I guess.

The points systems in other states are different then in California, I know in NY you have to get like 12 points before your liscense gets suspended but each speeding ticket it like 2-6 points depending on how fast you are going.
