I have a friend who is trying to sell me a used Recaro SPG bucket seat for aroun 750, with rails. The rails are fitted in his IS300, so I dunno if i'll need to get new ones for my wrx. It's a 3 year old seat, on the passenger side, and rarely been sat on. The condition very good, with the only draw back is that it's been sitting in a smoker's car for all these time, sucking up smoke smell (which my friend claimed is barely noticeable). He got the seat alone for 900, is 750 a good price to pay?

i know that when i use to smoke i never could smell a damn, thing.. specially cig smell on my clothes and stuff..
be sure if you are not a smoker, you will be able to smell that.

anyways, yeah if he was a real friend..he wouldnt sell it for that much..he got it for 900..but its been 3 years and it has the smoke smell..is he getting a new seat? if so..and if hes just trying to get rid of it..he should just give it to you for free, if not maybe 500, but thats just me, not sure how much they go for, search on ebay or something.
