Talking STi Recaros Finally Installed (Pics Included)

Finally got my STi Recaro seats installed and they are sweet! the bolstering is much more agressive than the stock seats and much more supportive. The new seats really feel like they grab you in the shoulder area as well as the spot right under the arms. They are also very comfortable. Although they are lower than the stock seats, which isn't so bad, but I am going to custom make some 2 inch risers because i'm a shorter guy (5'8"). These seats would be perfect for a tall person. The blue matches the rear seats and the door inserts and the seatbacks fold forward via a switch on the seatbacks. The angle adjustment is a dial like mercedes cars used to be. Much more precise angles possible because your not limited to the clicks of the stock seat recliner mechanis. All in all the seats look like they belong in the car. Much more so than the stock seats. The stock seats were too pretty for the car. I think the STi is very raw and these seats compliment the car perfectly.

Got the seats from Myles at RaceComp Engineering

Thanks Myles for finding me the perfect seats. Your product selection and customer support are second to none.

I'm around 5'8" also, and this is what I do to get my Recaro to the optimal height:

Dude, don't mean to rain on the parade, but is that safe? Considering the added torque force on those longer bolts?

Only time can tell

There are 6 of them, so even if it breaks it won't be all at the same time.

Beautiful seats man! Congrats! And I won't even ask the price, since I already know that I'm too poor to afford them
