How many of you actually 'warm-up' your car before a drive?

It sits for about 20 seconds, then i shift at 2.5k-3.0k until the temp needle is to normal, and then i mash it all day long

When i come home, i park it, and give it about 20 seconds at idle, and then turn it off.

But the shifting at 2.5-3.0 is now very apparent, as running 15w-50 is pretty thick **** and needs to get warm.

I usually warm up the car for about 5 minutes or until the temp. gauge is almost to normal operating condition. But this morning, I was running late to work and decided to not let the car warm up. Boy did I notice the difference!! I heard all kinds of knocks and rattles that I don't normally hear if I warm up the car. My car is about 2 1/2months old with 3500 miles. I guess it's true what they say that our cars learn as we drive it. From now on I'll warm her up everytime.

Ofcourse it's still summer here in Texas. Warm up only takes about 5 mins. I wonder how long it's going to take during the winter?

I let the engine warm up for about 1 minute. I then start driving it, but never rev the motor over 4K rpm's until the temperature needle is above the second bar, or when the motor is at operating temperature. I also check my oil and coolant once a week.

I warm the car up for 2-3 minutes if I have time to do so. If not, I'll drive and shift at 2500 until it's warm.

ditto, my commute allows me to drive very gently for the first 3-5 minutes. Then I keep off boost until a few minutes after the temp guage reaches normal. You're better off warming your car up this way as everything comes up to operating temperature, not just your engine. The only time I start my car up and let it idle to warm up is if I'm sweeping snow off of it or scraping ice from the windshield.

I check the cold tire pressure about once a week before starting the car and do a quick under the hood check including fluids every time I fill up.

Good way to get your car stolen, leaving it sitting there idling... My neighboor when I was back in Vallejo did that, had her car stolen right out of the driveway.
my car shuts off if someone steps on the brake...plus with no key in the ignition the steering wheel locks up...

Too tell you the truth I don't really warm up the subie any more.

I guess I should ... hmmm oh well. Maybe when she's a turbo beast.
