Maybe I should have specified....still have yet to find a Suby that is louder than mine with a full TBE, but Im willing to bet its damn near as loud as an open downpipe. Evosoul can attest to this.

 

my open downpipe was pretty damn loud.. and that was before i got a catback heh

for CA, its 95db +/- 1.5db, with car under 50%-60% of max rpm.

i used to run full uppipe/ TBE with apexi gt-spec and that was loud, love the sound but thats what put me into the state ref

now im rolling around with the UP/TBE with borla hush and love it.

All the decibel values by human ear guesstimates are pretty darn funny.

My 2.5RS w/ Borla, RT hi-flow cat and 2.5 to 3" ScoobySport was louder than cars I have had w/ straight pipes, but I never measured the sound. It would set off at least 5 alarms every day driving into our garage very slowly. It was fun about 10% of the time when I could blast down the freeway and such but the other 90% of the time it was painfully embarassing. The idle was mean tho..

so how are the champ cars 110dB and you guys are claiming 110-130?

walking over the bridge as the champ cars pass under you makes your ears tickle if not rupture.

i think 130 is crazy, my dirtbike is 100 and its WAY loud
